About

Brave Athlete Endurance Running wants to help you find your brave on the trails. Coach Tricia wants to support you in your trail and ultrarunning goals with a focus on long term athletic growth (so we can continue to improve for years to come) through consistency in a way that is sustainable for you given all your other life commitments! This is done through exploring a sustainable why that supports long term consistency in training and finding the fun/ adventure in training!

 

Tricia incorporates her formal education and training and personal experiences as a trail and ultrarunner to provide knowledgeable and evidence based endurance coaching. Tricia holds a Master of Education in Adult Learning (UBC), Ultrarunning Coach Certification (United Endurance Sports Coaching Association), and is a previous Weight Trainer and Fitness Theory Instructor (BC Recreation and Parks Association). Tricia has experience racing road and trail races ranging from 10 km to 100 miles, with notable finishes at the Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run (2023, 3rd Female), Finlayson Arm 100k (2022, 2nd Female) and the Orcas Island 100 Miler (2020, 2nd Female).

 

Tricia started her athletic career as a competitive swimmer, and signed up for her first marathon in 2017. She soon discovered her love of trail running, and shifted her focus to finding the adventure in consistent training on the trails while continuing to explore her athletic potential. Tricia can be found running the Squamish trails and North Shore mountains with her dog, Mops.

SERVICES

Services

I offer personalized and flexible endurance trail coaching, including scheduling daily activities in a training log such as running, cross training, strength and mobility training, and rest days. I work collaboratively with you to make training a sustainable part of your life! 

Regular communication is a central piece of my approach to coaching. Building a strong relationship with each athlete helps me build a truly customized and supportive training plan that best supports you in working towards your athletic goals. I check in daily (including weekends and holidays) and want your feedback! 

 

I also offer additional resources around mental training in sport, sports nutrition education, and support with racing and event logistics for trail and ultra events in line with with my scope of practice as a UESCA Certified Ultrarunning Coach. 

Coaching is done monthly at the rate of $140 CAD/ month. If finances are a barrier to access and you are interested in working with a coach, please let me know. 

Customized training plans are available. The cost is dependent on the length of the plan requested.

All services are virtual. You can be coached from anywhere!

For athletes located in the Sea to Sky area, in person runs are available!
